AxxonSoft Takes Part in Safety and Security Indonesia 2010

12/21/2010

The AxxonSoft Company took part in the Safety and Security Indonesia 2010 exhibition (SSI 2010), which took place December 8-10 in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. The exhibition presents a variety of problems and challenges encountered by governments and the civilian population in matters of security maintenance. 250 companies from 15 countries took part in SSI, and visitors numbered around 5000.

AxxonSoft presented the Intellect platform and solutions based on it, such as the POS PSIM cash operations control system and the Face PSIM facial recognition system, at the exhibition. The new Axxon Smart PRO product, which went on sale December 1, was also demonstrated in Indonesia for the first time. AxxonSoft products worked with Axis, Probe and Vivotek IP cameras. Booth visitors were especially interested in the capabilities of Axxon Smart PRO: video detection tools which enable the automation of the video surveillance process, video archive management functions, and support for two streams from IP cameras.

AxxonSoft partners from various parts of Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya, presented AxxonSoft solutions to their partners and clients at the company’s booth. Specialists from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, East Timor, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan also visited the booth. As almost all of them are practicing professionals in the field of security, the guests shared their vision of applying security strategies using video analytics, respond systems, and emergency communication systems.

During the exhibition several meetings were held with Indonesian manufacturers and distributors of IP equipment; negotiations were held with some of them regarding sending AxxonSoft the requirements for participation in tenders for video surveillance system projects. Prominent manufacturers of access control systems in the Asian region expressed their interest in technological collaboration with AxxonSoft.
