AxxonSoft: technology partner for DigiTec Expo 2014 in Yerevan, Armenia

DigiTec Expo 2014 recently marked the event's 10th anniversary from 3 to 5 October in Yerevan, Armenia. DigiTec Expo is annual international exhibition for the high-tech industry. Now for the tenth year, the organizers have opened the doors of the Yerevan Expo Center of the Yerevan Computer Research and Development Institute for leading developers and IT professionals. Visitors were treated to a diverse array of telecom, mobile, multimedia, and education- and business-targeted solutions.

As in past years, the event was organized by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises with the support of the Armenian government. According to organizers, the goal of DigiTec Expo is more than to just demonstrate IT advances, providing a space for communication between companies and clients.

And by all standards, the event was a success: around 130 companies and several thousand visitors took part. One guest of note, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, attended the opening of DigiTec Expo 2014 and reviewed the exhibits on offer.

A special role was played by AxxonSoft, the technology partner for DigiTec Expo. While AxxonSoft did not participate directly as an exhibitor, those attending could see for themselves the real-world robustness of AxxonSoft-powered security solutions. Among the products demonstrated at the event was Retail Intellect, which is specially designed for the needs of retail operators and was used to count the number of expo visitors.

In addition, AxxonSoft representatives held talks with Universal Systems, МТС, LanAr Service, NETinfo, INTRACOM Armenia, Redinet CJSC, and other companies.

So DigiTec Expo 2014 was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate AxxonSoft software "in the field" but also a valuable venue for forming new partnerships with leading companies in the security industry and related sectors.
